Dawn Mosby is an ordained minister, radio personality, author, singer and songwriter. Known to most as God’s Girl Dawn, she began her career in broadcasting as a sales assistant in 1997. Her love for gospel prompted her to write a proposal for a 24 hour gospel station. In August 2000, her vision came to fruition and Joy 106.3 FM hit the airwaves as the first 24 hour gospel radio station in Columbus, Ohio, for which she is the Program Director and host of the afternoon drive show.
Dawn is also an ordained minister at New Birth Christian Ministries under Pastor Kenneth E. Moore and enjoys ministering to the hearts of women and young ladies. She has developed a class entitled Virtuous 101, designed to minister to the uniqueness of women, empowering them through the knowledge of the word of God to reach their God given potential.
Dawn recently, authored her first book, entitled From Mothers to Daughters – A Book of Wisdom. Dedicated to her daughters, Jasmine and Nadia, the book speaks of passing on wisdom to help empower daughters from all walks of life and help them make wise decisions. Along with the book, is a CD single, “Baby Girl”, written and performed by Dawn Mosby.
Dawn resides in Columbus Ohio with her two daughters Jasmine and Nadia and grandson, Joshua.
