New York University paid an African worker $210,000 in a settlement suit after his supervisor called him a “monkey” and a “gorilla.”
“Do you want a banana?” NYU employee Osei Agyemang was asked by his boss at NYU’s Bobst Library. According to Agyemang, his boss taunted him with such racially inflammatory remarks for nearly two years.
The harassment stopped only after Agyemang requested to be transfered.

The Progressive National Baptist Convention, an organization that began to support and defend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s efforts during the Civil Rights Movement, has come to the defense of President Barack Obama.

CLAYTON COUNTY, GA. — A Decatur, Ga., pastor is being held without bond on molestation charges.
Samuel Walsham Chapman, 58, a pastor at Riverdale Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Jonesboro, was arrested after a 15-year-old boy alleged that Chapman took him to a parking lot and performed a sexual act in front of him.
